Who qualifies?
- All quoted companies
- Large UK incorporated unquoted companies and LLPs (Companies Act 2006 'large' definition)
- ≥250 employees, turnover > £36m, or balance sheet > £18m — meeting 2 of 3
- Subsidiaries covered by a parent's group report are exempt
- Companies using less than 40,000 kWh in the reporting year are exempt
What you must disclose
- Scope 1 & 2 greenhouse-gas emissions
- An intensity metric appropriate to your business
- Energy efficiency actions taken during the reporting period
- Where practical, global energy use
- Methodology used to calculate the figures
